Mechatronics DC Cross Flow fans (also known as tangential fans or cross flow blowers) produce a laminar airflow and allow for horizontal or vertical mounting. Cross flow fans are frequently used in diverse applications ranging from HVAC, electronic systems, food preparation equipment, to indoor horticulture structures.

Cross flow fans create a laminar airflow by drawing air in over the entire length of the fan blade. Inside the impeller wheel, the airflow is redirected and pressurized by the rotation of the blades creating a vortex. The pressurized air is then pushed out over the entire length of the blades at the Cross Flow Fan outlet.

Mechatronics Cross DC cross flow fan options include either right-hand or left-hand motor configurations, PWM speed control, tachometer, alarm feedback, and environmental protection options.
